Apar introduced a range of Solar cables for emerging PV based renewable energy installations backed by its 30 years of experience in manufacture of Elastomeric insulated cables. Apar has installed Electron Beam Irradiation facility having 1.5 MeV, 2.5 MeV and 3 MeV accelerators and uses this technology for cross linking of Elastomeric Insulation and Sheath of Solar DC Cables. Apar’s photovoltaic (PV) cables are intended for interconnecting photovoltaic solar panel arrays in solar energy farms. These solar panel cables are suitable for fixed installations, both internal and external, and in open environment or in conduits. The compounds have Zero Halogen Low Smoke Properties and are Ultra Violet Rays & Ozone resistant. Not only do these cables have over 25 years of life but Cables can be offered Rodent Resistant and in option of Copper, Copper Coated Aluminium or 8000 series Aluminium. Rodent & Termite Resistant cables also shall be made with Nylon-12 Layer in between two layers of XLPO. Depents on application twin solar cable also shall be offered.
